Health Insight 365

How Health Insight 365 Works

A public high-level view of information processing

This page explains the user-visible flow of information in Health Insight 365. It intentionally omits internal infrastructure, database design, credentials, network boundaries, and operational procedures.

Information flow

  1. Account access. The user creates an account or signs in through a supported method.
  2. First-use guidance. Until an analysis is completed, Home presents a concise three-step path and a clearly labeled example preview containing no user information.
  3. User choice. The user selects a laboratory report and starts an upload.
  4. Visible processing. A staged tracker reports secure upload, file-safety screening, analysis-access verification, extraction and analysis, and report preparation. Unsafe files do not proceed to analysis.
  5. Analysis Engine processing. Supported report content is extracted, validated, and organized.
  6. Insight preparation. The Analysis Engine uses marker information and relevant user-provided context to prepare the requested educational analysis.
  7. User review. The example preview is replaced by the user’s populated dashboard. Insight provides a longitudinal Analysis Engine-assisted summary across available bloodwork, while each Report Detail retains a report-scoped snapshot, markers, lifestyle context, and supporting sources.
  8. Report comparison. Compare Bloodwork opens from Insight and initially orders reports by their report date, falling back to upload time when no report date is available. Users can search or filter markers and long-press a column header to rearrange or hide reports. On iPhone, landscape hides surrounding navigation to enlarge the report area; portrait restores it. These display choices last only for the current signed-in app session; they do not alter reports or Abnormal Marker Trend. Switching to another bottom-menu section closes Compare automatically.
  9. Action tracking. Home summarizes the latest report’s recommendations in a color-coded status ring. The user may update an action from the Home popup or the corresponding Report Detail as planned, in progress, paused, or completed; both views use the same saved status.
  10. Ongoing control. The user can manage reports, permissions, profile information, and account deletion.

Third-party services

Health Insight 365 relies on selected service providers for functions such as account authentication, secure cloud hosting, Analysis Engine report processing, email delivery, and Apple in-app purchases. Information is shared only as needed for the relevant function and remains subject to the safeguards and disclosures in the Privacy Policy.

Protection and retention

Health Insight 365 uses encryption, authenticated access, account separation, pseudonymous identity lookups, security monitoring, and activity records to reduce unauthorized access. Retention and account-deletion timelines are governed by the Privacy Policy. A deleted report may leave a limited audit record, such as its display name and deletion date, when needed for security, dispute, or compliance purposes.

What this public view excludes

Detailed architecture, security configurations, keys, internal service names, database fields, network paths, and response procedures are kept in restricted documentation. Limiting publication of those details reduces unnecessary security exposure.

Important health information

Health Insight 365 provides educational information to support personal wellness and informed conversations with a qualified healthcare professional. It does not diagnose disease, prescribe treatment, replace professional medical care, or provide emergency services. Users should seek urgent medical help for an emergency.

Your choices throughout the process

Before selecting a file or photo, confirm that the bloodwork is yours or that you are authorized to upload it. New users review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy separately inside the app before agreeing. These acknowledgments do not replace professional medical advice.

My Profile fields are optional. Users can select a built-in avatar or choose a personal photo through the iPhone photo picker. A selected photo is cropped and compressed, saved to that user’s profile, and also appears as that account’s Profile tab icon. Selecting a built-in icon replaces and removes the saved photo. New and existing accounts use the default person icon until another avatar is saved. Unsaved profile changes trigger a choice to save or discard before navigation continues. Account Activity shows recent account events, with separate opt-in choices for sign-in IP and approximate location details. Send Feedback is available from Help and My Profile. Email report selection supports Overall Summary and individual report details; exported PDFs include organized sections, summary charts, and educational disclaimers.

Users may optionally enable App Lock under Security in My Profile. Once enabled, sending the App to the background locks the authenticated experience. Unlocking is handled by iOS through Face ID, with Apple’s device-passcode fallback when offered. The preference applies only to the current Health Insight 365 account on that iPhone and can be turned off in My Profile. Health Insight 365 never receives the facial scan, biometric template, or device passcode.
